Pittsburgh mayor meets with South Side business owners on public safety

The Fudge Farm’s East Carson Street location earlier this month announced that it is closing its South Side location.The decision came following two shootings in the area.“A massive crowd rushed in here, and they were running through the restaurant. They were in the kitchen just trying to seek shelter, and at that point, I knew enough was enough. It’s just too much. I can’t, with a good conscience, let teenagers work down here,” Fudge Farm owner Molly Rainey said.Tuesday’s meeting was held at South Side Market House on Bedford Square.
