CPS Energy to apply credit on San Antonio December bills

CPS Energy will use the $42.5 million out of the council-approved $50 million to give the average residential energy customer a $29 credit on their December bills.

“Returning this revenue is the least the City can do for the public, which owns CPS Energy and deserves consideration at a time when high energy prices are taking a toll on household budgets,” said Mayor Ron Nirenberg in the news release.

The credit will be based on customers’ July energy usage. They can log into their account page on the CPS Energy website to calculate their credit.
