Politics in the park kicks off Wednesday
Politics in the Park will take place every Wednesday from June 15 to August 10 this year.
CASPER, Wyo.—House districts 59 and 62, as well as the Assessor’s office, will be present at Washington Park June 15 for the first weekly Politics in the Park event. The event will begin with a social hour at 4:30 p.m. before speakers take the stage at 5:30 p.m.
Politics in the Park will take place every Wednesday from June 15 to August 10. Each week, a different set of primary candidates will be present. According to the event’s Facebook page, “candidates will be invited to introduce themselves and the issues that matter to them.”
The social hour will allow attendees to meet candidates and ask them questions, then speeches will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. The event is free to the public, and will be live-streamed each week on the Natrona County Republican Women’s Facebook Page.
