European stocks continue negative streak, fall for fifth session
European stocks finished down Monday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index
falling 2.41% to 412.52.
The French CAC 40 index
dropped 2.67% to 6,022.32, the German DAX
fell 2.43% to 13,427.03 and the FTSE 100 index
weakened 1.53% to 7,205.81.
Of the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, emerging technologies company Just Eat Takeaway.com N.V.
saw the largest decrease Monday, as shares plunged 16.2%
Shares of emerging technologies firm Deliveroo PLC
and real estate developers company TAG Immobilien AG
tumbled 15.6% and 12.5%, respectively.
Delivery Hero SE
an emerging technologies company, and air freight company InPost S.A.
rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks tumbled 12.5% and 11.3%, respectively.
a chemicals company, saw the largest increase of the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, as shares increased 3.2% on Monday.
Shares of pharmaceuticals firm Vifor Pharma AG
and defense equipment/products company Thales S.A.
added 2.8% and 2.1%, respectively.

rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks gained 2.0% and 1.9%, respectively.

fell 3.56 basis points to 2.534%, and the yield on the German 10-year bund
